S is for...Staying Power

So...yesterday I didn't post anything.

I could have. But, I didn't. I was still at my brother's. I had my phone with me, I could have put something together and got it posted. I didn't. I was still a bit hanging from Saturday night. We had a party. It was good. But Sunday, I was tired. So I spent most of it chilling and eating.

I started this blog with the intention of writing something everyday, but the main focus being collating my philosophy about coaching in a creative way. But that isn't really necessary. I'm always going to try and choose quality of quantity. It makes more sense. So it's more important what I write, rather than how frequently I write.

Plus, given that most of what actually happens when it comes to writing is done in the head space. I don't actually need to physically write in order to write. If you know what I mean. I can just think. That in itself is writing.

Plus, I'm back on it today. I have the staying power to go - I missed a day. No big deal. Keep going.

I guess that's about it. Even when you set a target, if you don't quite hit it, just demonstrate some staying power. Keep going.

Who doesn't love a good quote?

"Memories have huge staying power, but like dreams, they thrive in the dark, surviving for decades in the deep waters of our minds like shipwrecks on the sea bed." - J. G. Ballard
