S is for... Sorted

S is for... Sorted Got my list sorted; of dates and topics. It’s a small accomplishment, but an accomplishment none the less and therefore something worth celebrating. What’s better, is that now I’m organised a bit more now. I’ve got everything set up; the concept, the name, the website, the social media accounts(they could function better still), the list of dates and topics. The foundation is there. All I have to do now is write and share. It’s literally that simple. Don’t really see the point in writing much more in this post.

Cool examples of sorting stuff: Periodic Table Dewey Decimal System Genus My CD collection - By Artist, then Chronologically - yes I'm that old.

Who doesn't love a good quote?

"But I think that your entire life is a process of sorting out some of those early messages that you got." - Bruce Springsteen

SINCE THIS POST IS SO SHORT, let me at least elaborate on this bit. The whole quotes section. Like I dig it, sometimes you come across something cool, thought provoking, inspiring and something that changes your perspective on things.

But I don't fucking know if the actual Bruce Springsteen said it do I? I just found it on some other website and thought it was some cool shit to put on the blog. Like, MAYBE he did. That's the beauty about quotes, and the influence they have on us.

OH WELL, Lady Gaga said it.

Cool, I dig Lady Gaga, but she's probably said a whole bunch of the same shit that some nasty ass people have said as well. Like, hmmmm, I don't know "Hello". The point is, it's not just about what you say is it. It's about your actions before and after what you said. It's about what you said and what you did. Any mug can say some words - or type/write them for that matter.

The worry is that at some point, someone comes along and goes - I never said that shit, take it down, that's libel. Well, the point is, I never said that was the actual Bruce Springsteen did I? Pow!

Who doesn't live a second good quote? - One by another boss!

"Hmm. Difficult. Very difficult. Plenty of courage, I see. Not a bad mind either. There' talent, oh my goodness, yes - and a nice thirst to prove yourself, now that's interesting... So where shall I put you?" - Sorting Hat, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
