S is for...Sexuality

Updated: Dec 7, 2019

Right, I said I was going to write about it. So here it is. Sexuality. I’m totally cool with the concept of sexuality. Like, do what you want with whoever you want. As long as...

It isn’t with a kid.

It isn’t someone with who doesn’t want to.

And for those out there that really need a little bit of extra guidance.

No animals.

No dead stuff.

That’s about it, isn’t it?

Not hard.

Sexuality, it’s an uncomfortable topic for a lot of people. But that’s partly what ‘S is for...’ is all about. Dealing with the uncomfortable shit. Let’s stop playing dumb and just accept that there are a load of subjects and topics out there that can be discussed. If you don’t want are probably just being S is for...Scared.

BUT also, whilst we are on the topic. I’m going to stake a claim. I’d like to do it in honour of the great Dave Chapelle; who is one of my favourite stand-up comedians. In the past he has done a bunch of material about ‘the alphabet people’, and I think it’s well funny.

Anyway, I’m going to stake a claim here that either the letter S stands for straight, or BETTER STILL it just stands for sexuality.

Yeah, I’m talking about LGBTQ+LMNOP etc.

I don’t know if anyone has claimed the letter S for anything yet. So, I’m claiming it. It just means sexuality.

I totally dig the LGBTQ+ movement and what it stands for. But, it’s flawed. It’s flawed because ultimately it simply isn’t inclusive. If it was, letters wouldn’t have to keep being added.

I most recently wrote about sensationalism previously. So before anyone thinks about dishing any shit, give me some credit. I’m a little bit smarter than just chatting shit for the sake of it.

Now, I can anticipate and foresee a bunch of different reactions to me writing on this topic in the way I have. But when it comes down to it, I want to live in a world that’s inclusive, encouraging, and supportive. LGBTQ+, when it comes down to it simply isn’t inclusive.

I’m known for being controversial. That pretty much means I’m not afraid to throw ideas into the mix. But let’s be honest. I’m right about this.

So, not only have I set the record straight. I’ve provided the topic and community with a better logo and symbol. Ha community, what am I talking about? THE WORLD!

You’re welcome.
